Ballin' for a Cause: Drug-Free World Joins Forces with LL COOL J and Harlem Globetrotters

Drug-Free World joined LL COOL J's Jump and Ball Community Camp summer event, collaborating with the NYPD, Senator Leroy Comrie, and the Harlem Globetrotters. The camp, spearheaded by hip-hop artist LL COOL J, offers free basketball training and summer activities for children and teenagers every weekend throughout the season, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.

On the camp's final weekend, LL COOL J himself attended, meeting the excited kids. Drug-Free World participated by distributing The Truth About Drugs booklets to camp participants and neighborhood attendees, educating them on the dangers of drug use and benefits of a drug-free life.

The Harlem Globetrotters performed during the halftime show, wowing the audience with their talent and sharing personal stories that emphasized the importance of being drug-free. They highlighted how a healthy, substance-free lifestyle contributed to their success and well-being.

With continued support from Drug-Free World, the NYPD, Senator Leroy Comrie, and the Harlem Globetrotters, the Jump and Ball Community Camp will remain a beacon of hope, inspiration, and positive change for young individuals. Through the power of sport and collaboration, this camp is truly "Ballin' for a Cause."
