Global Crusade Against Drug Epidemic: Drug-Free World Collaborates with Law Enforcement Agencies Across the Americas

Amidst an escalating drug crisis, the Foundation for a Drug-Free World has remains steadfast in its mission to end the drug epidemic by collaborating with numerous law enforcement agencies across the Americas, including those in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and beyond.

At the forefront of this alliance are agencies such as the Los Angeles Police Department, New York Police Department, New Jersey Police Department, Florida Police Departments, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). These group efforts have been instrumental in the broad distribution of The Truth About Drugs materials to youth and adults.

Case in point, in Ocala, Florida, a School Resource Officer commended the Foundation's program, highlighting its accessibility for parents grappling with their children's involvement in drugs, “Any parent that has a problem with their kids getting mixed up in drugs can come to me and I will get them into the program.”

Similarly, in the heart of New York, NYPD officers have acclaimed Drug-Free World for its exceptional service:

And, in New Jersey, a detective incorporated the Foundation's The Truth About Drugs videos into his curriculum, affirming the effectiveness of firsthand testimonials from former drug users. Meanwhile, a Special Agent from the DEA acknowledged the Foundation's significant contributions:

Northward in Canada, law enforcement officers distributed The Truth About Drugs booklets to fifty schools, sparking insightful discussions among students. The program received an overwhelmingly positive response, with one Sheriff admitting he couldn't recall a presentation that so successfully commanded the students' attention.

In Texas, officers praised the Foundation's materials for their role in bridging the communication gap between law enforcement and youth on drug-related topics. Their engaging and impactful videos and booklets resonated with students, contributing to more effective drug education. Another officer stated the following about the programs success:

Extending its influence beyond the U.S., the Foundation is also impacting lives in Mexico. The School Safety Unit in Mexico's Ministry of Public Security expressed gratitude for the program's role in professionalizing drug prevention workshops in Mexico City schools. The Drug-Free World Civil Association even received a grant from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Mexico, recognizing the strength of its educational materials and its strategic work in vulnerable areas.

The Foundation's reach also extends into the military. In a pioneering initiative, the Foundation is on a mission to equip the entire Colombian Air Force with comprehensive drug education. In a country where military service is compulsory for all 18-year-old men, educating the military translates into educating society.

Major General Jorge León González Parra, Chief of Security and Defense of the Colombian Air Force, sought a better solution for his soldiers. Consequently, the Foundation launched a pilot training program for 100 Air Force officials. Given its resounding success, the program was extended to the entire military force.

Today, the trained Air Force personnel not only educate their fellow soldiers but also spread The Truth About Drugs program in local schools. This ambitious plan illustrates the Foundation's unwavering commitment to a drug-free world and fosters a hopeful vision for a future free of drug abuse.

The Foundation for a Drug-Free World is making a difference and are pledging their unconditional support and assistance to make these changes occur everywhere.
